Graduating from IBA & having more than 20 years of illustrious career. Mr. Aminur Rashid started his career through SIEMENS Bangladesh Ltd. and within 8 years of time, he became the Director of the Industry & Consumer Products Division where he worked for more than 11 years & after that, he started his own venture. Under his direct supervision and guidance, EDISON Group has become one of the prominent groups in Bangladesh within a very short period of time. He is one of the creators of SYMPHONY Mobile. Despite being Chairman of the group, he is actively involved in every aspect of business and plays a vital role in giving successful direction for the growth of the group. Mr. Rashid is leading the group to be well-structured with proper corporate governance and is directly guiding the group to become the top brand in Bangladesh.
Mr. Jakaria Shahid is an absolute visionary leader who turns his vision into reality through sound strategy development and inspiring everyone surrounding him. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Edison Group which started its journey in 2009 and has become one of the largest local conglomerates in Bangladesh. He is the man behind whose passion for perfection and enthusiastic drive has helped Edison Group to revolutionize into different business sectors: mobile handset manufacturing, footwear manufacturing & export, power distribution, creative marketing, properties, logistics, real estate, and electronics. Mr. Shahid is an inspirational leader who tells stories that inspire action while at the same time is grounded in financial information that levers the business. He gives the people around him the support they need to excel. He believes in providing an environment for employees to pursue their passions and be creative. Mr. Shahid did his MBA and started his career with SIEMENS Bangladesh where he was the General Manager of Industry & Consumer Products Division. He worked there for more than 10 years and left SIEMENS to start his own venture.
Mohammad Lakitullah has 21 years of corporate experience with 10 years of Entrepreneurship. He is a skilled Electrical Engineer and obtained a Management Course (EMBA) from Duke University, North Carolina, USA. Mr. Lakitullah had a magnificent career with SIEMENS Bangladesh Ltd. He joined in EDISON Group as Business Director. The entire Transformer and switchgear factory EDIOSN Marsons has been set up under his close supervision. He led a few business units successfully in EDISON as Business Director. He guides and supervises all Technical and Sales Forces of EDISON Power. He looks after Project Management of all projects to provide value-adding and efficient solutions to customers.
Md. Amran Hossan is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He completed his BBA and MBA from the AIS Department of the University of Dhaka. He started his career in "SIEMENS Bangladesh Ltd" in 2007 as Controller of the I&CP Division. He served as Head of SCM Commercial, Head of Finance, Head of Corporate Tax/VAT, and BA successfully during his tenure at SIEMENS. In SIEMENS he worked as Commercial Head of the Diesel Generator Business He joined EDISON Group in 2016 and during his journey in EDISON Group, he contributed as Head of Procurement, Group Commercial, Finance Controller of EDISON Power & EDISON Footwear, and other important areas.
